The purpose of the non-profit Corporation is to encourage quality economic development, quality employment opportunities and community improvements that in turn will help ensure long-term investments of lasting prosperity to Northern Gila County/Payson region.The Corporation is recognized by the Federal Government as a 501(c)(6) corporation.
NGCEDC works directly with the Town of Payson and Gila County to promote and sustain economic prosperity, and can assist prospective and existing businesses with the following:
- Regional demographics and business information resource
- Referrals for business financing
- Information/coordination with various local, county, state and federal incentive/development programs
- Consultation regarding business plans and considerations (from marketing to labor force)
- Identification of available business sites and arranging for site tours
- Assistance with permitting agencies and other governmental entities
- Other assistance as may be beneficial
